What an honor to be featured several times in the Dallas Morning News after the recent launch of my book, The Pettis Norman Story: A Journey through the Cotton Fields, to the Super Bowl, and into Servant Leadership.

Here’s another article by Cheryl Hall, business columnist, this one titled “How Pettis Norman helped the Dallas Cowboys deal with race.” It briefly covers inroads made to desegregate the Dallas Cowboys in the early 1960s.We navigated difficult times. I’m glad that my part in the civil rights struggle helped on and off the field.
